If you don\u2019t already use this service, you are missing out.<\/p>\n<p>I was receiving phone calls from a telemarketer masking their number with all zeros. Google Voice allows you to mark a caller as spam after it comes in, but what if you want to proactively block numbers? It\u2019s easy \u2013 just follow these steps on your computer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Gmail create a new contact and call it whatever you want. I chose \u201cTelemarketing Spammer.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Add telephone numbers you want to block. In my case, I entered the three numbers 0000000, 0000000000 &amp; 00000000000.<\/li>\n<li>An additional suggesting is that you create a new group dedicated to telemarketing spammers. Your own blacklist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"sshot-1\" src=\"http:\/\/mixoftech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/sshot-11.png\" width=\"568\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Now go to your Google Voice account &gt; go to\u00a0<em>Contacts<\/em>\u00a0&gt; locate the contact to be blocked.<\/li>\n<li>Locate\u00a0<em>Edit Google Voice Settings<\/em>\u00a0and click on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"sshot-4\" src=\"http:\/\/mixoftech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/sshot-4.png\" width=\"745\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look under\u00a0<em>When this contact calls you,<\/em>\u00a0click the button as indicated below, and select how you would like the call to be handled. I selected\u00a0<em>Treat as Spam<\/em>. Hopefully you will never receive a call masked in all zeros (or whatever you selected).
